Description
Mystery snails are one of the most popular freshwater aquarium snails thanks to their peaceful nature, striking colour range and appetite for soft algae and leftover food. The Black variety has a deep, glossy jet-black shell.
Mystery snails grow to around 5cm and are safe with community fish, shrimp and most plants. They need a well-cycled tank of 20 litres or more with a tight-fitting lid, stable water parameters and access to calcium (cuttlebone or mineral supplement) for healthy shell growth.
All our snails are quarantined and health-checked before sale.
